Pet Lovers, Help Stray Animals In Need Easily — Just Shop On GrabMart

Pet lovers and animal welfare supporters can now donate food, medicine, and other critical supplies directly to PETA Asia’s Ampon Alaga Program and Biyaya Animal Sanctuary via GrabMart — with zero delivery fees from August 28 to September 3.

The campaign features items pre-listed by the organizations as their most urgent needs: dog and cat food, treats, toys, beds, vitamins, cat litter, pee pads, cleaning materials, grooming tools, and other pet care essentials.

How You Can Donate

Giving is simple:

1. Set your chosen organization as the delivery address in GrabMart

2. Select items to donate from participating pet stores

3. Pay cashless to complete your order

Participating merchants include Pet Express, Pet Lovers Centre, and Dogs and the City, with additional stores available within an 8-kilometer radius of each donation site. There is no minimum purchase required, and all deliveries are free for the duration of the drive.

Once confirmed, the merchant will prepare your items, and a Grab driver-partner will deliver them straight to the shelter.

“For rescues caring for hundreds of cats and dogs, even a small donation makes a huge difference,” said Ashley Fruno, Director of PETA Asia’s Animal Assistance Program. “We are grateful to Grab for making support accessible to everyone, wherever they are. Every bag of food or pack of supplies helps us give rescued animals the care they deserve while waiting for their forever homes.”

Rina Ortiz, President of the Biyaya Animal Care Foundation, echoed this, noting that steady supplies keep rescue operations running. “Compassion is often built in small, consistent acts — a full bowl of food, life-saving medicine, a clean bed, supplies arriving exactly when needed,” Ortiz said. “This initiative turns care into something anyone can do easily. When many give a little, it becomes something truly extraordinary.” 

Grab Philippines has also provided GrabGift vouchers to further assist both organizations and the animals under their care.
