Image
Today was an unforgetable day, starting with a fascinating tour of the Uratex plant in Plaridel, Bulacan, and culminating in a celebratory event for their 17th consecutive Reader's Digest Trusted Brand Award!  I was lucky enough to be invited to both. First, the plant tour!  Wow.  This isn't your average factory.  We saw the whole process, from the blending of raw materials (seriously impressive precision!) to the automated mattress assembly lines – technology is amazing!  The scale of the operation is mind-blowing; it's huge, super clean, and incredibly efficient.  Seeing the dedication to quality control firsthand, from the initial foam creation to the rigorous testing, really solidified why Uratex is a trusted name.  They even showed us their in-house testing area – talk about commitment to quality! But the real highlight was the afternoon event at the RONAC Living Gallery in Mandaluyong. The atmosphere was buzzing with excitement as Uratex celebrat...

World Sleep Day 2017: SLEEP SOUNDLY, NURTURE LIFE

Image
Sound sleep is a treasured function and one of the core pillars of health. When sleep fails, health declines, decreasing quality of life.  Sleep is currently one of the easiest thing to give up by a lot of hardworking individuals. They would rather work late hours and finish the task that is required from them and miss on hours to no sleep at all. This could affect one’s health, as those who are getting less sleep could suffer from stroke, heart failure, high blood pressure, diabetes, obesity, and other chronic illnesses.  On the other hand, people suffering from insomnia are most likely to manifest symptoms of anxiety and depression, which can ultimately affect their performance and their relationships. In short, when sleep fails, health declines along with the quality of life. " It's okay honey, 2 (two) hours of sleep is all I need " - - - says no mom. EVER . haha Sleep deprivation makes you act a little drunk, eh? You know you are a MOM, when your fantasies are all about sleeping. Ü #Hugot There is nothing quite as difficult and as fulfilling as it is to be a parent. For mothers, it means having to balance her commitments to her spouse, family, work, household, and social life. They are an embodiment of the empowered women - women of strength, patience, perseverance, and passion. I was one of the pleasured (YES!) mommy bloggers to celebrate Mother's Day and have that much needed break from our hectic schedules when Uratex held a SPArty last May 6 at the Ronac Lifestyle Center, Magallanes.  We went to a mini tour in the Uratex Premium Gallery wherein we learned more about the essence of good sleep. Since I was one of the early birds (Uratex provided us with shuttle to and from our destinations. How cool is that? )  I...
