Sunrise Trail Hike at Masungi Georeserve: An Empowering and Meaningful Birthday Celebration

Image
Since I was a child, as soon as June approaches, I feel thrilled because it's my birth month. I don't eagerly anticipate gifts, but rather the greetings from family and friends. It brings me joy. I am easily pleased. It doesn't take much to make me happy. Whenever I am asked what I want for my birthday, my usual response is "nothing" or "I don't know; I can't think of anything I want or need." I am not materialistic. I am happy. I am healthy. I am blessed with family and true friends. Feeling ko nasa akin na ang lahat and I prefer inner peace. Fancy that! Haha. I find more joy in giving, whether to family, friends, or even strangers. But this time, I said, "Lord, can I give myself a gift this time?" Since a retreat in Batulao is not possible yet, I scheduled a day for myself for a pampering session at the mall. SM North EDSA Unveils Official One Piece Activation Featuring Giants of Elbaph

Event runs until August 30; One Piece Run sets sail at SM Mall of Asia on September 26

The Grand Line leads straight to Quezon City!

SM North EDSA once again serves as the official home of One Piece activations in the Philippines under Animezing North—the mall’s flagship series bringing world-famous anime titles to life through immersive attractions, exclusive merchandise, and one-of-a-kind experiences.

From August 18 to 30, The Block Atrium transforms into the world of One Piece with a landmark first for the country: towering inflatables of legendary Elbaph giants Dorry and Brogy, plus the very first full-size inflatable of the Thousand Sunny ship in the Philippines.

Fans can browse officially licensed One Piece merchandise from Toy Kingdom, Miniso, GeekPH, Oxygen, Careline, National Book Store, Filbars, The SM Store, Funko, and Coolectzone. All visitors get a free exclusive Chopper paper hat, while shoppers presenting single or accumulated receipts worth ₱3,500 from One Piece merchandise purchases receive a limited-edition themed tote bag.

Meet-and-greet sessions with Tony Tony Chopper are also scheduled on August 21 to 24 and August 28 to 30.

The adventure continues beyond the mall: RunRio has confirmed the highly anticipated One Piece Run will take place on September 26, 2026, at the SM Mall of Asia Complex. Participants may choose from 1K, 3K, 5K, and 10K race categories. All registered runners receive an official race kit including a One Piece shirt, commemorative bib, and pirate-themed bandana. Finishers earn a special finisher’s tote bag, towel, and collectible spinning medal. Additional official race merchandise such as straw hats and hoodies will also be available on-site.

Don’t miss the biggest anime voyage of the year! Visit SM North EDSA now, and get ready for the One Piece Run this September.
