103.5 Klite : I finally found THE ONE who makes me feel complete! ♥

Have you found that "someone" or "somebody" who makes you feel complete?

Lately I realized my life is incomplete. Being a career woman for 10 years, music was taken away from my system. (Btw, I'm a music lover! Maybe because I grew up in a family who loves music?! ) Anyways, my daily routine back then was home duties - work - home/ mama duties. It's like my life's always in a rush. The only time I got to listen to music and relax was during my travel time from house to work and vise versa. I don't have a choice but to listen to what radio station the driver is tuned in to. Commuter problem. There came a time that I'd want to stop the clock just to breathe and chill out and just listen to soothing music. I don't know if it's just me or others had the same feeling as I had.

I'm grateful to God that after my craniotomy, I became a homemaker na. Had meningioma not happened to me, perhaps up until now my life is sooo boring.(I love my previous job though. It's our bread and butter) But I'm still thankful to God, despite what happened.

After my operation, I don't like to hear loud music. I'm easily irritated with noise. This time Mr. MITM, brought out our old radio ( from baul perhaps?! ), and luckily I came across 103.5Klite. From then on, our old radio was glued to this station. Apparently, our old radio gave up on me..huhu. BUT, here comes my hero. He bought me a new cutie radio as an advance birthday present since I know he can feel my emptiness without music (for almost a month!) . Hehe..ahh.. thanks, Mr. MITM! You saved me again.

These DJs are very friendly, cool, instructive, entertaining, accomodating and you will have a homey-feel with them. Their playlists make me remember good old times "kapanahunan", that bring smile to my face when they cross my mind. This station put joy in my heart that can't be replaced. Not only that, aside from the good music they play, they have a lot of giveaways every now and then. Isn't that a big bonus?! You get to enjoy the tracks and win stuff pa from them?!

Perks of a Bella - My Simple yet Relaxing Birthday Celebration

Who wants a do-it-yourself type of massage?!

Me and Mr. MITM do! and I know lots of people out there doesn't want to be touched by anybody for a massage to have their tensed muscles relaxed as well.

Last June 17, I celebrated my birthday at our "happiest place on earth" at Ace Water Spa , with my family. It's been 5 years since we started to love Ace Water Spa. With or without occassion, whenever we feel like we need a break, bond and chill out, this is one of the first place that will come to our mind. We used to go to their branch in Banawe, Quezon City. But we love their branch in Pasig the more.

Ace Water Spa is the best place to bond with your family, friends and colleagues. I also like how the spa is PWD ( person with disability) friendly. Aside from the fact that they do give discounts for PWD, (provided you have a valid ID) I love how they give considerations to PWDs.

What you need to bring when availing a spa service?

All you need to bring are fitted swimwear and a towel. Ace Water Spa has all the amenities you need for a complete and relaxing experience. They provide swimming caps and life vest for kiddos. But if you want to bring your own, you are free to do so. A locker will also be provided where you can safe keep your belongings.

What I personally love about AWS, aside from their Hydrotherapy Massage is their Hot Herbal Pool. Whenever I'm out of sight, my family would know where to find me. They have four (4) hot herbal pool with different temperatures ranges from 34° to 40°c. I love to dip in their Lavander pool, the hottest pool with 40°c as its temperature. Thank God for my high tolerance for extreme heat. I love lavander scent, it refreshes my body at the same time keeps my skin smooth and soft. And after that I would take a fast dip into their cold pool (as if I accepted the ALS Ice Bucket challenge). But I need to do this. This process is called Contrast Therapy Plunge. It is a special hydro-therapy experience wherein an alternate plunging in the hot herbal pool and cold pool is involved. Immersion on hot herbal pool will open your pores to allow the release of body toxins while stimulating blood flow to the core of the body while tightening the pores. Alternate immersion is recommended to keep your body temperature and heart rate at a healthy level.

10. My gentle and sweet reminder- Please do not pee on the spa!!! Respect other people. There are children and other oldies there that might drink water from the spa. I'm happy that my kids are well-disciplined. Whenever they feel like peeing, they would tell us right away and we'll go to the bathroom, pee and wash before going back to the pool/spa.

Exceptional Birthday Celebration at Chelsea Kitchen

Tinapa pizza, anyone?!

Me! Me! Me! Raising both hands and feet. LOL. I think this is what I commented on Justin Vawter's X Chelsea Kitchen blog giveaway, 'coz I was really intrigued with this tinapa pizza. In short, I got Mr. Vawter's heart and so I won! Yay!

I so love tinapa ever since I was a kid, as stated on my previous post, I can eat like 5-7 cups of rice so long it's tinapa that's on the table. Believe it or not. But that's the truth. My mom and those closest to me know this. I am a tinapa monster. (with fish sauce and tomatoes as side dish..ahhh.. Heaven!)

 Tinapa is the Filipino term that usually refers to fish preserved through the process of smoking. It is a native delicacy in the Philippines and is often made from blackfin scad (Alepes melanoptera, known locally as galunggong), or from milkfish, which is locally known as bangus.

Since I want my picky eaters to be unfussy about food, we (Mr. MITM and I) decided to celebrate our unica hija's birthday at Chelsea Kitchen.

At first, I was a bit scared that my daughter won't eat the pizza since she's used to eat only at what "kids-food chain" offers. But to my surprise, she ate the pizza, not only one slice, but 2! Yes! She ate 2 slices of tinapa pizza. I'm so happy that she loves tinapa as much as I do.

Here's what we had. By the way, Chelsea Kitchen's food serving is good for sharing that made it very affordable and economical.
