LG is revolutionizing home entertainment with its new modular LG Sound Suite, unveiled at CES 2026. The centerpiece is the H7 soundbar – the world’s first to feature Dolby Atmos® FlexConnectTM – delivering immersive sound that automatically adapts to any room layout with minimal setup.
LG Sound Suite integrates smoothly with LG’s premium televisions, letting users combine wireless components like the M7 and M5 surround speakers, plus the W7 subwoofer – with or without the H7 soundbar – for 27 different configurations. This versatility lets consumers build a system tailored to their space, whether starting small or scaling up to a full 13.1.7-channel home theater. When using the H7 as the main unit, Dolby Atmos FlexConnect works with any TV via HDMI to suit diverse entertainment needs. LG will also roll out Dolby Atmos FlexConnect to its 2026 premium TV range and select 2025 models* through a future software update, expanding access to immersive audio.
Dolby Atmos FlexConnect offers the easiest, most adaptable way to bring cinematic sound to the screen. Explosions feel more powerful, music sounds more authentic, sports events are more thrilling, and every moment becomes more impactful. Setup is straightforward, with intelligent tuning that matches the listening environment.
As streaming replaces physical media, audio is regaining prominence in the living room. Leading platforms now offer movies, shows, and sports in Dolby Atmos and other advanced formats, making high-quality sound widely available. This trend has renewed interest in home theater, as users seek audio that complements their TV’s stunning visuals. LG Sound Suite meets this demand with wireless ease, simplicity, and performance, bringing true surround sound back home. Bluetooth and Wi-Fi connectivity enable seamless pairing for streaming and device integration, so setup is as effortless as enjoying the audio.
LG adds unique innovations to enhance the experience. Sound Follow uses ultra-wideband (UWB) technology to shift the optimal listening position based on where the user is sitting. Paired with Dolby Atmos FlexConnect, this ensures personalized immersion – so every seat feels like the best one. Room Calibration Pro also analyzes the room’s acoustics and applies AI processing to deliver balanced, full-room sound.
The H7 soundbar is powered by LG’s cutting-edge α (Alpha) 11 AI Processor Gen 3 – the same chip used in its flagship OLED TVs. This proven technology boosts performance and intelligence, with deep learning and a Neural Processing Unit creating precise audio. AI Sound Pro+ can up-mix stereo content into immersive spatial audio, while AI-driven object separation keeps voices, music, and sound effects clear and well-balanced. The system also adjusts audio settings automatically based on content type for optimal playback across genres.
All LG Sound Suite components feature Peerless speaker units – a brand with over 100 years of audio expertise, known for premium craftsmanship and high performance. By combining Dolby Atmos FlexConnect’s simplicity and flexibility with Peerless speakers’ acoustic quality, LG Sound Suite ushers in a new age of immersive Dolby Atmos sound.
“Working with Dolby, we’ve made immersive audio accessible for every home,” said Lee Jeong-seok, head of the LG Media Entertainment Solution Company’s Audio Business Division. “LG Sound Suite pairs Dolby Atmos FlexConnect with wireless modular design and AI tuning, so consumers can create their ideal system and enjoy cinematic sound from anywhere in the room.”
“Dolby and LG are opening up new possibilities for anyone wanting better sound with Dolby Atmos,” said John Couling, Senior Vice President of Entertainment at Dolby Laboratories. “Whether speakers are on a shelf or in a corner, Dolby Atmos FlexConnect fits naturally into any home without the hassle of traditional systems. We’re excited for users to experience this new level of flexibility and performance.”
