Global partnership celebrates friendship, Filipino storytelling, and world-class talent ahead of film’s September 2026 premiere
Jollibee marks an exciting milestone with its official global collaboration with DreamWorks Animation, timed for the worldwide theatrical release of Forgotten Island on September 23, 2026.
About Forgotten Island
At the core of this original adventure is the unbreakable bond between lifelong best friends Jo and Raissa. On the cusp of going their separate ways, the pair stumbles onto a mysterious portal that whisks them to Nakali—a wondrous island filled with mythical creatures drawn straight from the Filipino folktales they heard growing up. When they learn that returning home could mean losing every memory of their friendship, Jo and Raissa must race to find another way out before they forget each other entirely.
The film features an extraordinary lineup of Filipino and Filipino‑American talent:

The Filipino heart of the project extends to its soundtrack: breakthrough P‑pop group BINI—also Jollibee brand endorsers—contributed the original track “A Parallel World”, released July 23 2026. Blending English and Filipino lyrics, the upbeat electronic‑pop song was performed live by BINI at the Forgotten Island panel during San Diego Comic‑Con earlier that July. Its music video even features Jollibee, showing the group sharing their favorite meals and happy moments while recording in the United States.
