2026 LG Ambassador Challenge Opens – Call for Healthcare Projects

LG Electronics Philippines is looking for changemakers, community leaders, and groups nationwide to join the 2026 LG Ambassador Challenge. They want project ideas that help underserved communities, especially in medical aid and community healthcare.

The LG Ambassador Challenge is a CSR program by LG Electronics Philippines. It started in 2022 with partner Korea Friends of Hope International (KFHI). LG gives money and support to people and local groups that come up with good, community-led ways to solve big social problems.

The program follows LG’s global “Life’s Good” idea. It wants to give communities power by letting residents pick their own needs and use new, useful solutions to make life better for the long run.

“Through the LG Ambassador Challenge, we are able to work closely with communities and partners to support initiatives that create real and sustainable change,” said Nakhyun Seong, Managing Director of LG Electronics Philippines. “By empowering individuals and organizations with resources and support, we hope to help build better lives and stronger communities, in line with LG’s commitment to innovation and social responsibility.”

Entries for 2026 are open from February 10 to 28. This year, proposals must focus on medical aid and healthcare for underserved communities. They also need to be sustainable, have strong community involvement, and make a lasting difference.

Since it began, the challenge has backed many community projects:

- 2025: Programa para sa Alagang Ina at Sanggol (maternal and child health) in Barangay Tres Cruses, Tanza, Cavite. Healthcare services were expanded – now open full-day and can take up to 10 patients daily, twice as many as before.

- 2024: Life’s Good Library On the Go in Nagcarlan, Laguna. A mobile library that brings books and learning materials to kids in underserved areas.

- 2023: Solar streetlights in Calauan, Laguna; clean water access in Lawaguin, Laguna; and Paliparan Community Livelihood.

- 2022: Ride for Hope (ambulance for pediatric cancer patients) and Roof for Siargao (post-disaster recovery).

LG Electronics Philippines wants groups, advocates, and leaders with good, sustainable ideas for medical aid and healthcare to join in.
