Have you seen the videos of the recent chaos over the P8 Burger in the malls? The burger has 716 calories (๐ญ). NKKLK. That's why I decided to prepare this healthy and nutritious sandwich with only 66 (kcal) for my family. ๐
Oily fish such as mackerel, salmon, and sardines are said to help against cardiovascular disease, prostate cancer, age-related vision loss, Alzheimer's disease and dementia. It's a good source of vitamin D, protein, some B vitamins and selenium. It's also a rich source of omega-3 fatty acids, a type of fat that is good for our health.
Let me share with you the easy- peasy recipe of my mackerel Sandwich
Ingredients :
1 can of 425g Uni-Pak Mackerel in Natural Oil, drained and flaked
2 tbsp onion, minced
1 tbsp lemon or calamansi juice
3 tbsp Mayonnaise
8 slices white bread
lettuce (optional)
salt and pepper , to taste
PROCEDURE
1. Mix the Mackerel , minced onion, mayonnaise, lemon juice, salt and pepper
2. Spread the mackerel mixture on 4 slices of bread
3. Top with lettuce and close the sandwich.
