Vivo young global smartphone brand is already leading the pack to the future



  



When young global smartphone brand Vivo entered the mobile industry, the market was dominated by two or three names. But in a matter of years, Vivo changed the game.   

Vivo has been determined to break barriers and introduce technology that ushered the industry into the future. After all, it was Vivo that introduced a 20-megapixel dual front camera in V5 Plus and a 24MP front camera in V7, V7+, and V9. 

The V5 is the first smartphone with a 20MP camera.
The V5 was then followed by the release of the V5Plus (left) and V5s (right), both with 20MP selfie camera. The V5Plus, meanwhile, has a 20MP+8MP dual rear camera.


Aside from the selfie camera, Vivo also paid attention to the users’ need for a bigger screen. Earlier this year, Vivo released the ultimate iteration of a concept smartphone, the APEX™ FullView™, which nearly has a 100% screen-to-body display. The V9, Vivo’s newest flagship, is getting closer togoal with its 90% screen-to-body ratio.

Vivo is also the first to introduce the in-display fingerprint scanner that gives users another method to unlock their smartphones. 

Vivo then introduced the first smartphones with 24MP front camera, the V7+ (left) and V7 (right).

Vivo then released the upgrade to its cameras, the V9 with a 24MP AI Selfie Camera and 16MP+5MP dual rear camera. 

It is still a wonder what Vivo will do next. For instance, it wowed the tech world with its bezel-less APEX concept smartphone because of its pop-up selfie camera to achieve the 100% screen-to-body ratio.

To get a chance to bag any of the Vivo Christmas Giveaway prizes, just follow these mechanics:
1. Take a selfie using a Vivo V7/V7+ smartphone and use the Watermark Feature.
2. Write a short message containing your wish for your fellow Filipinos this Christmas season.
3. Upload your selfie and message on the Vivo mini site and share your entry on Facebook
4. Please be reminded that an entry is only eligible to win in the contest week it was uploaded on.
5. A weekly draw will be conducted every week with the following prizes up for grabs:
a. The entry with the most number of likes will win the Grand Prize.
b. For minor prizes, entries will be chosen randomly.




For more chances of winning, a customer may submit an entry every week provided that the selfie image and Christmas message are unique from his/her previous entries. Uploading and voting is open until 5:00 PM of every Friday and voting automatically closes beyond the given time. Access to their FB accounts will be logged out in front of customer right after uploading to make sure there is no breach in privacy.

Vivo V7 launch at SM North EDSA spearheaded by VIVO’s Newest Local Ambassador Julie Ann San Jose and Ashley Rivera



Vivo, one of the leading smartphone brands in the country today, held a re-launch of its latest offering from the V series. The Vivo V7, was first unveiled in a grand launch at the SM City Bacolod Event Center North Wing last November 18 with Vivo influencer Boyband PH headlining the event



The re-launch, which took place at the SM North EDSA Cyberzone Event Center last November 28, was graced by performances by R&B singer and Vivo influencer Julie Anne San Jose plus newest all-male group One Up. 



The event was also hosted by the DJ and Vlogger Ashley Rivera. The V7 re-launch was largely attended by members of the media from various networks and bloggers. 

Ms. Hazel Bascon, Vice President of Vivo Philippines and Head of Sales welcomed the members of the press and the audience in attendance.




Just in time for the holidays, Vivo is also mounting a special Christmas campaign to anchor the traditions of the most awaited holiday of the year and Vivo as a brand. The Christmas campaign involves booth stands in participating malls where Vivo enthusiasts may take their best Christmas selfie with Santa Claus, say hi to their favorite Vivo Family at the Vivo Phone Booth, get a chance to be Vivo’s all-screen cover girl or cover guy at the Cover Page booth and to experience the new Vivo V7 at the Experience tables. VIVO V7 was launched in four different Malls featuring Celebrity Performers

Vivo again wowed the crowd with their recent unveiling of the Vivo V7, the newest addition to the V series. The grand launch happened at the City of Smiles—Bacolod City last November 18 at the SM City Bacolod Event Center North Wing. 


The launch was graced by the presence of Vivo influencer and hottest boyband in the country Boyband PH made up of Joao Constancia, Niel Murillo, Tristan Ramirez, Russell Reyes, Ford Valencia. The group entertained fans with their upbeat performances. 

On the same day as the grand launch last November 18, other Vivo influencers also made an appearance at a series of VIVO All Screen Experience mall tours to push Vivo V7. Sassa Dagdag sang for the exclusive crowd of Vivo fanatics at SM City Naga while teen heartthrob Paul Salas made fans scream at the Vivo V7 mall tour at Star Mall in Shaw. DJ and funny comedienne and acoustic crooner TJ Monterde made for a perfect duo as they made fans smile at the SM City Novaliches leg of the Vivo V7 mall tour.
