Join the most gripping and compelling fun run in Manila.

Over the past few years, living a healthy lifestyle has become loudly trendy. Living healthy and fit lifestyle means being inspiringly beautiful. People are becoming increasingly aware of the health benefits of simple home exercise like walking and running.

Happening on May 27 at the CCP Liwasang Ulalim, RUN 4 Ur Life PH is a concept event that will combine the Fitness and Epic Fun that appeals to diverse demographics in the name of fun and fitness.

Aside from being fit and healthy, the event aims to create sparkly fun experience as integrates it the four categories: 3 km, 5 km, 10 km and 21 km run. Each category will be more exciting with the intense and exciting elemental obstacle courses, the Earth, the Water, the Air and the Fire.

To suffice the energy and loud enthusiasm of participants, the event will end in the funnest and wildest Tribal Party in town.

The event is for the benefit of Dialysis PH Support Group, Inc. Their mission is to give voice and support to dialysis patients by creating harmonious relationship through education and advocacy. The group is dedicated in improving patients’ dialysis quality of life by promoting Chronic Kidney Disease (CKD) awareness, including extensive campaigns to prevent kidney disease and help patients to live full and productive lives.

Backbeat Run for a cause 2017 on May 28 at SM Mall of Asia

Backbeat Run for A Cause 2017 is a half marathon event with 5K, 10K, 16K and 21K category happening on May 28, 2017 at SM Mall of Asia Complex.

Last April 17, 2017 Backbeat Run for a Cause 2017 media event was held at Abe Restaurant in SM Mall of Asia. I'm one of the lucky few to be invited and learned about the said run, its organizers and beneficiaries.

Presented by Plantronics a pioneer in audio and wearable technology for communication last year initiated strong campaign on practice safe driving. In support to Government RA No. 10913 Anti-Distracted Driving Act that will penalize drivers who use mobile phone while driving. This year Plantronics will hold the first ever half marathon event which connects your passion with purpose.

In partnership with Brother Philippines, spanning for more than a century its technology and innovation have evolve overtime. Brother is known to delivering new technology and customer satisfaction on different printing, scanning and sewing machines.

The two world leaders in technology coming together to produce the first ever “Backbeat Run for A Cause 2017”. Two big companies combined in one goal: Run for a Good Cause! Proceeds for this race will benefit Kythe Foundation a non-profit, non-stock organization aimed towards improving the quality of life among hospitalized children with cancer.

As the runners cross the finish line, participants will have the chance to gather around for the post-race festivities which include awarding ceremony of race winners, raffle and special awards.

HOPE RUN 2016 :Run for Children With Special Needs

As an autism mom, I know how hard everyday with a child with special needs is. Specially if there is no intervention to address the child's needs. I believe that early intervention is the best HOPE for the future. Early attention to improving their core behavioral symptoms of autism will give my child – and the rest of the family -several important benefits that we will not gain if we will take a wait-and-see approach until my child enters school . But these therapies mean financial predicament which not all can afford.

This is also the reason why the organizers from Kids Journey came up with this Run for a cause: HOPE RUN 2016. They wanted to help children with special needs and their families get through and hopefully build a foundation.
