1 can 298g Jolly Cream of Mushroom Soup (mixed with 2 cans of water)
500 grams boiled chicken breast
250 grams uncooked Doña Elena Al Dente Penne Rigate
2 cups broth
2 large onions,chopped
2 cloves garlic,minced
1 large carrot,diced
2 tbsp Jolly Canola Oil
5 tbsp Jolly Whole Corn Kernel
salt and pepper
Cooking Directions:
1. In a pot, heat Jolly Canola Oil and sauté onions, garlic and boiled chicken cubes. Then season with salt and pepper
2. Add the broth, penne rigate and Jolly Cream of Mushroom Soup. Stir and let it simmer until penne is al dente. Add carrots and corn kernels, and let it cook for 2 minutes.
3. Transfer in individual bowls and serve with crackers or toasts
The steep and well-fought encounter was held at the Le Pavilion Tent in Pasay City last March 3, 2017. 120 elite finalists pulled out their best and most creative JOLLY-inspired dishes to clinch the coveted titles in four categories :
1. Individual Category - featured Luzon Cuisines made easy, healthy and baon-ready
2. Team Main Dish Category -Visayas Cuisines made easy,healthy and JOLLY
3. Team Pasta Category -Mindanao Cuisines made Pastarrific
4. Team Mocktail Category - the team must capture the Jolly Vibe of the Philippines in a Sip
This year's Jolly University elite finalists are from 23 different schools across North and South Luzon and Metro Manila.
With JU's theme "It's More JOLLY in the Philippines", Jolly University was held in conjunction with the Grand Cook-off and the Jolly Congress, which featured some of the country's top industry practitioners and leaders:
Leo De Leon of Allegro Beverage - taught the audience the reasons why go to the coffee business, the 5 ingredients needed for Success in Business ( A- attitude, B - belief, C - commitment, D - desire, E - enthusiasm)
JC Libiran - author of Byahe ni Juan, inspired the crowd with his true-to-life stories and hugots. And left a very meaningful passage. " Change the Story of your Life"
Too sad, I wasn't able to hear other speakers share their stories, and tips as I have an important mama duties to attend to. Aside from the mentioned, the other speakers were Marilyn Perio. Of UCPB, Liza Morales of CCA Manila, Karla Reyes of La Petite Fromagerie, Nana Ozaeta of Good Magazine, Bryan Kong of Crazy Katsu, Chershire Que (nutritionist), Vberni Regalado of Philippine Star, Jose Mari Oquiñena of Gawad Kalinga, Angelica Atanacio of Anghelica's Desserts, Kian Kazemi of Persian Grill, Rebecca Lee of wheninmanila.com and Ms. Earth 2015 Angelica Ong.
