"Crosspoint" takes viewers on a thrilling journey set primarily in Japan, following the story of Manuel Hidalgo (played by Aquino), a once-famous celebrity now struggling to make ends meet after his career falters. In Tokyo, he ekes out a living as an undocumented performer in a Filipino pub, where he crosses paths with Shigeru Yamaguchi (played by Hira), a bankrupt construction company owner. Both men, facing their own personal challenges, stumble upon a news report about a wanted serial killer with a hefty bounty. Driven by desperation, they embark on a dangerous pursuit of the fugitive, hoping the reward money will solve their financial woes.
Director Donie Ordiales, drawing inspiration from real individuals he encountered in Japan, brings this compelling story to life with an international cast and crew.
