Converge Tops DICT Oplan Bantay Signal Q2 2026 Rankings in Broadband Speed and Network Quality

Converge ICT Solutions Inc. (PSE: CNVRG) recorded the strongest fixed broadband performance nationwide in the second quarter of 2026, according to the latest Oplan Bantay Signal report from the Department of Information and Communications Technology. Converge posted the fastest download speed, best-in-class symmetric upload speeds, and the lowest latency in the country.

Converge achieved the quarter’s lowest average latency at just 5 milliseconds, meaning nearly instant connectivity for users. It also recorded an industry leading download speed of 158 megabits per second. Customer complaints fell by 84 percent from January to June, reflecting steady improvements in network performance and service delivery.

“Converge’s performance in the second quarter improved notably alongside a sharp decline in complaints. This shows the company is addressing concerns and making targeted upgrades to its network,” said DICT Secretary Henry Aguda.

The DICT also confirmed no Converge served areas were classified as crisis cities or locations with average speeds below 15 Mbps during the quarter. Three areas recorded speeds between 15 Mbps and 30 Mbps and remain targeted for further improvement. 

“Converge remains focused on delivering the best possible service to every customer. Our upload speeds reached a six month high and our latency leads the industry, showing that consistent investment translates to better experiences,” said Converge CEO and Co Founder Dennis Anthony Uy.

Converge also received the Bayani sa Last Mile recognition at the Digital Bayanihan Awards on June 30 for bringing connectivity to remote and underserved communities.

In separate Ookla Speedtest Intelligence results for the first half of 2026, Converge earned top marks across all key fixed broadband metrics, taking home Best Internet, Fastest Internet, and Best Fixed Latency honors from January through June. It continues to operate the country’s largest fiber to the home network by port count among major providers, with its last mile fiber infrastructure expanding to more than 960,000 fiber kilometers as of May 2026.

Oplan Bantay Signal is the DICT’s nationwide network monitoring program that evaluates telecommunications performance through systematic testing. It measures download and upload speeds, latency, and reliability to help ensure consistent quality broadband service across the country.
