Zoomanity Group Christmas Gift Giving : Open Heart, Open Park Project

Everyone gets excited about Christmas. Who wouldn't want Christmas?

Christmas is my most-awaited time of the year [aside from my birthmonth (June) of course] because I receive gifts from my parents, godparents, relatives and friends. Now, at my age, I think that Christmas is really just for children. I know the happy feeling of a child whenever he/she receives a gift.

But for my kids, I don't want them to look forward to Christmas just because of the gifts that they will receive from our family and friends. I would always tell them the true essence of Christmas, it is a celebration of the birth of our savior Jesus Christ. We usually go to church, reunite with family and give something to our neighbors. That's why when I learned about Zoomanity Goup's yearly tradition -Gift giving in their theme parks, me, as part of TAG Media and Public Relations, I earnestly volunteered to join. First to give thanks to all the blessings I've been receiving all throughout the year and sharing it to our less fortunate brothers and sisters by offering my time. I love this kind of event. Volunteerism. Thankful that Zoomanity Group has this yearly event. This is also a great avenue to teach my child the value of giving. So I joined, and my daughter in tow.

Last Dec 13, 2015 we went to Zoocobia in Clark, Pampanga to be with the indigents in the community (Aetas), the park was opened to the kids for free. We toured the park and had a close encounter with the animals and we were able to feed some of them! Wow!!! Definitely a thrilling experience for me and my daughter ü

We also had the chance to hop on the ZOOC RIDE.. that is so cool! Two -thumbs up!

Weeeeeeeee!!!

After the tour, everybody went to the event area where the food and gifts were already waiting to be distributed to the kids. I felt a bit emotional when the kids sang the Birthday Song to Mr. Robert L. Yupangco, CEO of Zoomanity Group because it is also his birthday and he opted to spend his special day with the kids. This is one of my greatest dreams, to spend my birthday in an orphanage or an institution to bring joy and love to them.

After the gift giving in Zoocobia, we had our lunch and went to Zoobic Safari in SBMA for another gift giving in different foundations in the area. Each group showcased their talents and especially dedicated to Mr. Yupangco as a sign of their gratitude for the support they are receiving from Zoomanity Group.

This time, I'm a proud and happy mama of my daughter. Even though she's tired and sleepy, she's still willing to help in giving out gifts to the kids. This is her first time to be in this kind of activity. I hope I bestowed on her the value of giving, caring and loving.

Good job, my baby doll! ♥
